Overview
What is Last Player Standing?
It’s a season‑long knockout challenge: pick one Premier‑League team each round. If they win, you survive; draw or lose and you’re out. You can only use each team once per competition.
Rules
Full rule set
Every game-week with eight or more fixtures lets you pick one team you believe will win. Win → survive; draw or loss → eliminated.
You can only use a team once per competition.
Once every participant has used all 20 teams, everyone’s list resets and all teams become selectable again.
If a game-week has < 8 selectable teams for you, wait until a later round when at least one unused team becomes available.
If you fail to make a pick before the deadline, the system will automatically assign a team using a fixed rule: the first available team alphabetically from that round’s fixtures. If you’ve already used all teams, the first alphabetical team will be re-assigned.
A competition can be set to Restart automatically or End competition.
In Restart automatically, if all remaining players are eliminated in the same round,
then all players re-enter with their team lists reset and play continues.
In End competition, those players are marked Fell last
and the
competition closes without a single winner.
If one player remains that player is declared the winner.
Winning provides recognition on the site (e.g., standings/status) but no cash or material prizes are awarded.
Postponed / Abandoned / Cancelled → if your selected fixture does not complete, you advance automatically. We do not revisit or change outcomes later, even if a result is awarded or the match is replayed on another date.
Picks
Can I change my pick?
Yes—right up until picks close. Picks lock one hour before the first premier league kick-off of the round. Once locked, no changes can be made.
What if I forget to pick?
It depends on the Competition settings chosen by the Host. If you miss the cutoff, either the Site will auto-assign a team using the Competition’s auto-pick rule, or you’ll be eliminated. Check the Competition page to see which rule applies.
Do cup or European matches count?
No—only Premier‑League fixtures scheduled in that round.
Deadlines
When do picks close?
Picks lock one hour before the first premier league kick-off of the round. The exact deadline is always displayed on the My Competitions → Team Selection card, so you know how long you have left.
What if a match is postponed or abandoned?
Postponed before kick‑off → you advance
automatically.
Abandoned after kick‑off → if the Premier
League later awards a result we use that; if the match is voided or
replayed your pick is treated like a postponement (you go through and
may pick again in the next round).
Scoring & progression
Is there an entry fee?
Hosting is free while we’re in beta. No player limits.
How is the winner decided?
The last surviving player is crowned champion. If a competition reaches its maximum rounds without a single survivor, any remaining players share the win.
Accounts
Can I be in multiple competitions?
Absolutely. Join or host as many competitions as you like — each competition runs independently.
Can I leave a competition?
Yes. Use the menu on the competition page. If you leave mid-round, you’ll be marked “Left” and can’t win that competition. Leaving is final and can’t be undone.
